About Naked Truth

At the age of 37, I had a light bulb moment where I realised I was not happy with my life the way that it was and that I had every right to enjoy life instead of just enduring it. I had been so caught up with simply trying to cope with the situations that came my way that I was missing out on living the life of my dreams. What I was soon to realise was that by not being all that I could be, I was not only robbing myself of a life worth living but I was not enhancing the world I lived in either.

You might be wondering where the name Naked Truth came from. It is based around my realisation at that time that while we all have truths that we live by, I wanted to make sure that I lived my life based on the truth that I would be totally open and honest with myself. At the time, I was facing the end of my 15 year marriage, I had two pre teen daughters to take care of and I had no job.

I knew that I had to do something different to what most people do because I needed to make up for lost time and opportunity and I only wanted to do that which I was passionate about or made me happy. It may sound selfish but it actually meant that I agreed to take full responsibility for myself, my wealth, my success and my achievements. It didn’t take me too long at all to decide that real estate investing was what I wanted to do.

I began the journey of discovery just over a decade ago and I have come to the place now where I can say that I truly love my life and the daily experiences that make up the journey. What I thought may have been possible for me to achieve 10 years ago, has been accomplished and now my next decade of goals beckons. They are bigger, brighter and even more incredible than I could have imagined back then and the good news is that your dreams can come true also.

Don’t be like me though and think that you have to work it all out yourself. I could have accelerated my journey much earlier on, simply by finding people who could help me reach my goals. Over the last two years, I have discovered the power of mentors in my life and have made it a goal to continually be mentored in at least one area of my life.  My hope for you is that you are ready to live the life of your dreams and to choose to be all that you can be.
